“Hello, my name is Adam De Silva, and I'm a director, and I've just wrapped a week's shoot with Colibri Films here out in Kazakhstan, and it's been a great week, really successful. Our producer, Naryn, has been on hand to help us day and night with all the requests. The pre-production was super smooth, you were super helpful, great kit selection was sent through. Any questions with regards to transport, any of the logistics has been top-notch. He's also a really lovely guy, so he's great to have on set, he brings a really good vibe, and can step into multiple roles, which is really helpful, especially with our shoot, where we were having to do a stripped-back approach at times due to having to shoot on a construction site. He provided an amazing crew, they all were super lovely, a lot of them spoke amazing English, and even the ones that didn't speak amazing English, they really tried, which was really sweet. And yeah, it's been a really successful time. A big shout-out to Naryn especially, who arranged a last-minute picture car for us, and pulled it out of the bag, we dumped it on him that we needed a picture car. Within 24 hours, he turned it around and got us a classic Lada, which was exactly what we needed. And we took that to the mountains, and yeah, it's been a great shoot, really, really impressed, and I'd definitely come back to Kazakhstan. The selection of locations is insane, the people are brilliant, and the food is my new favourite cuisine. So yeah, I highly recommend coming to Kazakhstan, I highly recommend Colibri Films, and thank you to Naryn and his team.“
